Wasatch County Library Awarded Grant to Upgrade Technology

Trending 1 hour ago

Wasatch County Library has received a Library Services and Technology Act Technology Enhancement Grant to upgrade and modernize the technology in the library’s Board Room.

“This investment strengthens the library’s role as a civic and community hub,” said Juan Lee, Library Director. “The Library Board Room is one of the most heavily used public spaces in the building. These technology upgrades will enable us to better serve residents, local organizations, and county partners by providing reliable, high-quality tools for communication and collaboration.”

This project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the Library Services and Technology Act and is fully funded through a competitive statewide grant, CFDA No. 45.310, administered by the Utah State Library Division, according to the library.

Wasatch County Library stated its project was selected based on demonstrated need, mission alignment, and clear community impact. The upgraded Board Room technology will improve audio and visual quality, support hybrid meeting capabilities, increase accessibility, and enhance the library’s ability to host public meetings, workshops, and community events.

The library expects to complete the installation and implementation in the coming months.
